Kristina, a white woman with short dark hair, wearing glasses on her head, a patterned blue and white shirt, and gold jewelry, looking into the distance and leaning on a wooden railing outdoors with green trees in the background.
  • I grew up as a first-generation immigrant and learned early that change often arrives without warning or choice.

This has shaped how I understand transitions: the obvious ones marked by loss of home, identity, relationships, or loved ones, and the quieter moments when we realize that something needs to shift.

I’m a queer, neurodivergent, multi-cultural woman, and my own experiences of navigating trauma, health challenges, and disability have taught me how powerfully the nervous system organizes around protection. This perspective guides how I approach survival patterns - with respect for why they formed, and care for what they cost.

I don’t share my story in the therapy room, but I carry what it has taught me about humility, pacing, and trust. Being invited into the inner lives of others is something I receive with deep care and respect.

  • My work is grounded in commitments to disability justice, body liberation, and anti-racism, and I practice using a neurodivergence-affirming approach and care for people across the spectrum of sexual and gender identity.

In practice, this means I pay close attention to how power, access, and safety shape our work together, and I don’t assume one body, culture, or way of being as the default. There’s no one “right” way to do therapy - only the way that works for you.
